Georgetown and DePaul need to find a new home. No excuse for our entire league not to be top-100.

You just expected Gtown to be great in Cooley's first year of a rebuild?
Fair. DePaul will always be sub-100, but Georgetown can get there eventually.

The program hasn't had a coach as bad as Ewing since the early 1970s.

Not to go too off topic, but how is DePaul in all other sports? Are they carrying their weight? I think their women’s bball has been decent, but what about other sports?

Is there anything in the by laws that a school can be booted out for being awful in all/most sports for x number of years? Lol.

I only liked the first post because Rutgers is a Q3/Q4 loss.

I think Ed Cooley will get Georgetown to an annual NCAAT team. If not, let's keep Georgetown for nostalgia purposes. Yes I know it's dumb, but I always have a soft spot in my heart for Georgetown and their imprint on the Big East and college basketball in the 80s and 90s.

Depaul.......... well I can't rebut you even though I am trying to. They flat out suck. Let's leave our footprint on their behind as we kick them out of the Big East. The Big East can be an innovator. When every other conference is trying to expand, the Big East can be the first to contract.

It's Cooley's first year there. Ewing did a lot of damage to that program. I think it's going to take a while for Cooley to turn things around (if it's even possible). DePaul on the other hand..... no hope.

I do not think Stubblefield is the answer, but I think the right coach can be successful at Depaul if he can activate the business community to support the school. The local basketball talent pool is as strong as any city in the country.
