Georgetown, Memphis, Marquette and Cincinnati that's about it. However their could also be some surprises lurking. When you add us to the mix its about as strong as any other conference. ACC only really had 2 teams, we have 3-4. Football suffers more than basketball in my opinion. I don't know how the women's team is affected.

Obviously UConn is the marquee name in the 'basketball' conference.

The top 8 to 9 in the basketball side of the conference make for a decent conference. The collection of football playing schools is insane and will result in outrageous travel expense for pipe dreams of a big football related income.

The bleeding isn't going to stop because UConn and Cincinnati don't want to be in this conference.

The critical thing is that the basketball schools know and have known right along that the football schools deliver the money. Even in the Big East that is true. The basketball schools go to bed every night praying that the football side doesn't finally come to its senses and go its own way.
