Seems most of our top teams are on the road for this challenge. Just UConn, UL and SU are at home, with Pitt, Cincy, WVU and Georgetown all on the road. #4 SU and #6 UL will have their hand's full facing #10 UF and #20 Vandy. Unlike last season, the BE has not done nearly as well OOC, and over the next few days, I can see the Big East taking further hits to the conference's overall RPI. Once conference play begins they'll be few chances to bolster the OOC RPI. These next few days could have big NCAA seeding implications, even though there is a ton of hoops to be played. There are still a lot of good Big East OOC match-ups to be played before the BE season begins. I hope this challenge is the beginning of our conferencing making a strong push and statement of dominance yet again. Just not sure that will happen this season.

Agree on all but Pitt, I think they kill UT.

If the Friars play even a half-way decent game they should beat a really bad S.Carolina team that lost to Elon and Tenn. State. But the Friars squeaked by Holy Cross after back to back drubbings from Iowa State, and Northern Iowa. Maybe DePaul which is playing well is a safer bet!

Depaul at home may be our best chance.
First thought when I read this is how much difference one year makes.

Big win for Gtown last night! Clark and Thompson with some big games.

I thought it would be 2-2, with Depaul winning. They must've got close, because they were down 14 at the half and just lost by two.

Big games tonite between 4 ranked teams.

DePaul was up 1 and missed something like 5 straight foul shots. Got the final rebound and had it stolen. Guy drove length of the court and scored. I turned the channel at that point. Where gtown was lucky to win DePaul was unlucky to lose
