Agreed. There’s a smart way and a dumb way to schedule and it never ceases to amaze me how many teams/leagues/conferences (college and pro) choose the lazy dumb way:

“Durrr we need another week of conference games, therefore we should start games a week earlier when all the kids are on break durrr”

Luckily Ackerman doesn’t seem to be the typical hurr-durrr sports executive meat head.

Yeah I think many coaches would appose it.

But I think it's good for the fans and helps the team in the long run.

will be great to be playing the league teams 2x a season. none of the on and off again of the AAC.
