They are 8-3 now and have beaten creampuffs for their 8 wins and lost to 3 teams above the level of the creampuffs (2 P6 and 1 from A-10). Teams get better as the year goes along and I am sure they will give some tough battles to even the teams at the top on some games, but yeah I think their ceiling would be getting to the NIT.
