Big day for the Big East that could go badly. Providence and DePaul are the only favorites. Performing to expectations probably doesn’t do much damage, but even a modest over performance would be really helpful to the league in March.

Xavier/Cincinnati was a fun well-played game for 34 minutes, and then the refs take over for Cincinnati.

Xavier was ahead pretty comfortably and then absolutely imploded in the last 5-6 minutes

That wasn't an implosion. A ref can move a game this close with 2 or 3 calls, and that is exactly what happened.

Damn, Miller had a good play drawn up and got Freemantle an open 3 pointer at the buzzer. It was a great designed misdirection play.

Butler and Xavier are NIT bound. Season is over for both. The rest of the games this afternoon are KenPom/NET games for the conference, but don't really matter.

Marquette is a dog in the evening game. Is someone hurt? A spread like that is one to run the other way from. Feels like insiders know something the rest of us don't.

Xavier isn't a bad team, but every game I watch them, they absolutely lose their minds in the last 5 minutes

Why does McCaffery play for Butler? He has to be the worst player in the Big East that gets meaningful playing time. His own teammates won’t pass him the ball when he is wide open. He just sucks.

Thank Christ Marquette is in this conference. It’s weak sauce again this year.

Butler could be a scrappy team.

How is Rutgers not killing Seton Hall? Every basket by Seton Hall feels like a surprise.

Syracuse was 136 NET this morning. Cutoff for Q2 on the road is 135. So that’s a Q3 win for now lol
Never one to support fan overreaction but it is pretty clear Redd ain’t the guy. Another program that may waste another year holding onto a dud.

Have to wonder when that Rutgers team is just going to get sick of their two one and dones taking 70% of the shots. Great idea to get two top 5 prospects but that’s a tough situation to manage as it comes to personalities and egos.

How you guys are ranked is beyond me. Lost to Nova and almost Xavier.
