Big East March ‘26 Thread

Hall is only 0-5 from 3. They were 9-18 against us. Let's pick up the pace here guys. Snipers go to work
 
The Pirates keep shooting themselves in the foot. Just get the damn ball down low to Hines.

Hall was never going to win this one without hitting a 3. Put a fork in this one. Willard is BECOY, not giving it to a coach of a 10-10 BE team.
 
Seton Hall has been absolute garbage all game. I'm honestly pretty sick of them as a program, they play a gross style of basketball and always play out of their minds against us.
 
Seton Hall was bricking their threes in the warmup before our game, I’m hardly surprised they can’t hit the ocean tonight.

No offense, basically have to rely on getting the magic touch on a random game

Looks like UConn could get Marquette two games in a row - set up to play winner of PC & Marquette.
 
That pretty much ended Seton Hall's chances to make the tournament without having to win the Big East Tournament.
 
Crazy how team's become the Monstars against Uconn then turn into pumpkins. I full expect to get Marquette's best shot tomorrow afternoon.

We should probably not root for that since DePaul would be a Q3 game if they lose today. Anyone else is likely Q2, though Marquette and Xavier are also in the danger zone

There was no way I was watching this 2 hr rock fight. Would love to avoid both these teams in the BET.
 
At this stage of the season we shouldn't worry about anyone but St Johns. That is if we think our team is championship quality. I'd just like to see us string together a bunch of dominate performances in the BE tournament which we are certainly capable of.

Put up or shut up time. Today’s game should be a good look into what this team is capable of given they’ve had a week off and it’s for the BE crown.

I’d be concerned if they played poorly on this one.

They played terrible today. You are still objectively wrong about the last game which is what we were talking about

This is arguably the worst Marquette team in 25 years and they looked like the faster and more athletic team with the quickest athlete on the floor.
