Big East Forfeits

Georgetown vs Providence canceled tomorrow night due to covid cases at Georgetown. They forfeit moving Providence to 2 and 0 in the conference. The league has to look at this policy.

I hope the Big East will do what the PAC-10 is doing which is allowing teams an opportunity to make up the game provided they can find an agreeable date.

Does anyone have a link to the written covid policy as it pertains to who has to forfeit and what happens in various scenarios?

Edit: I got impatient and looked it up myself. I'd still be interested in the original Big East statement of policy, though. Big East basketball’s new COVID policy: Teams will forfeit games if short players because of virus

There’s going to be a bunch of forfeits. What can they do cause they can’t extend the season or having teams playing/traveling 4 games a week
