Last I heard, Marinatto was talking to Bloomfield High and Ansonia to round out the 12 teams.
2 more conference losses

Funniest thing I've read all day. Nice.

too little too late, there is no Big East Conference, if it does exist it will be non qualifying.

Way to late. No disrespect to the possible teams, not very exciting and I don't think the league will retain it's BCS status. Get us to the Big Ten Conference!

If we went independent in football could we have a better schedule?

My guess- AFA, Navy, Boise State, Houston, UCF and ECU. Word is Army has already said no.

No longer the Big East if AFA joins. NO Chance Boise joins IMO. Why would they?

They have to do something, because doing nothing is what got the Big East where it is now.

I think BSU would jump at the chance to join an AQ league. The teams I listed in my previous post were the ones I believe the league will contact, not necessarily the ones that will join. If Marinatto really wants to get a solid TV deal for the league, UCF and Houston will be the first calls he makes. The Orlando and Houston markets would be a nice piece of leverage for the league in media contract negotiations.
