Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the top dog of them all….Coach Cooley! Do any of you want to reconsider your vote when you voted him the worst coach in the league?
No

Do games like this actually matter with the coming Crown Tournament? There is NIL attached to the Crown, right?

Hated seeing PC win that one. I really dislike them.

That providence is absolutely wild. Probably the most reckless crowd in the Big East. Beer and empty cups flying all over the student sections.

Cooley's "betrayal" definitely did something up there.

Georgetown needed that win. Sucks they let it slip away when they retook the lead midway 2nd half

The Hall giving Creighton a run in Omaha
i liked the halftime score with Seton Hall being down by only 4 and was hoping for a good game the rest of the week way, and maybe a puncher's chance for an upset by the Pirates, but it all unraveled in the 2nd half.

Matta is in the running for worst coach in the Big East this season. This team should be a bubble team, but losses to Austin Peay and NDSU took care of that, and then followed it up with a bunch of close losses in league play.

St Johns is having a pretty good practice right now. 32-8 over Georgetown with 6 minutes left in the 1st half

This SJU team might make the FF. I predicted Pitino getting them there. I didn’t really think it might happen this fast

can't see them stringing 4 straight wins outside of the Big East with that lack of 3 point shooting
They are so smothering. This is a good team that keeps improving.

If this team can’t string 4 games together with this energy, we certainly can’t. This SJU team is for real. I’m glad the Big East has a team that can play at this level.

Georgetown got blown out at home by 20+ vs a sub .500 Notre Dame team. With their length, defense, and guys like Richmond/Luis/healthy Smith that can iso you to death they're a nightmare for UConn and the conference in general but if they throw up one of these games making either 1 or 2 3s for the entire game in the tourney like they've done vs Creighton and Butler they're going home.

SJU shows up every game. They’ve lost 3 games by a total of 5 points. Creighton by 1, Baylor by 1 and Georgia by 3. No losses since 12/31. You’d have to jump through hoops to discredit them.

You would have to jump through hoops to think saying their lack of 3 point shooting will ultimately doom them is somehow "discrediting them".

Butler up 7 at home vs Marquette at the half, Telfort giving them a workout

Just 4,386 at the Georgetown game, 21 percent capacity. This is what happens when you burn out a fan base.

Final 4 is a stretch imo. We’ll see I guess

How did Georgetown ever beat Creighton and Xavier? They just suck. The Top 5 of the Big East are 27-3 against the bottom 6.

The order of the schedule often dictates a team's midseason record. Xavier is 2-4 against St. Johns, Marquette and UConn, but is also done with those 3 opponents. After tomorrow's game against Creighton, Xavier may be favored in every game the rest of the way.

I had Xavier/Creighton on my laptop while watching the UConn game. There is just a bad vibe with Xavier, like it feels the players don't like each other. I have felt the guards take bad shots and just play kind of selfish a lot. There was a play with about 9 minutes left while Conwell tried a low percentage post up spin against Kalkbrenner and missed, flopping to the ground pretending to be hurt. Creighton goes into the break. Ashworth attempts a 3 with Conwell way behind the play, misses, and Traudt gets the rebound and puts it back because Conwell never got back on D after getting embarrassed attempting a stupid move.

I feel like there are a few of these possessions every game with Xavier. That may explain why a team as talented as Xavier looks like it will be the favorite to win the Crown tournament rather than playing in the NCAA Tournament.
