Bunch of catholic schools playing in a league no one really cares about anymore- they better do something but can't say I care either way.

Article is incorrect that they moved out of Providence. The old BE offices are the AAC offices, still in Providence. The new BE was already in NY elsewhere.

I just saw an AAC press release that was stamped "Providence". I didn't realize they were still there....that needs to change.

I'd rather it not change. They are locked into a lease and they are renting on the cheap. The more they spend, the less UConn gets. The league office already tucked away tens of millions of the $100m cash hoard left behind. Aresco makes more than a $1m a year while each conference member gets $2m from the TV package.

Guys. Every time you mention the Big East, it makes me sad. Sad that, in the AAC, we're going to be a mid-major that never contends for a title again. I mean, without the Big East, we're doomed.

Pathetically, the catholics think they are in a good spot because they are still the Big East… Of course, most of the glory associated with the Big East was accomplished by teams that are no longer there…

It's like when Coca Cola came out with the new formula… While it was still called Coke, it sucked & people didn't want it & stopped supporting the product. Coke was smart enough to bring the old formula back & the Consumers came back.

Unfortunately, the Big East can never get the old formula back...
