Question for legal experts in the thread. Can subscribers of the conference network channels file a class action lawsuit and demand refunds? Football is the reason 90% of those subscribers pay for it to begin with.

You can't cancel your TV subscription?
generally speaking conference networks are included in entry level cable packages in areas with a state school who is part of said conference. When I lived in Wisconsin and had cable the Big10 network was like a main sports channel with the local telecom company. You typically have to pay a fee to cancel your contract. At any rate I think they have an argument.

I think it's all about wording. The Big East cancelled fall sports, which doesn't apply to basketball. The Pac 12 cancelled sports through 2020, which does
Bingo. Have to pay attention to details people.

Yes and there's nothing about canceling basketball for the Pac-12 or any other conference.

People are paying for Hallmark TV on Basic cable.

Not correct. The Pac 12 has cancelled ALL sports through the end of 2020. That definitely includes basketball through the end of the year.

Nah I've seen it worded "Fall sports and Basketball" enough times when talking through hypotheticals. It's fine though, my mistake.

Postponed, they have said nothing about canceling basketball.
Really? So you think they are gonna play these games when? We'll have April madness? Give me a break. Any games "postponed" in 2020 are not gonna be made up. You're really that much into semantics huh??

Or May Madness. Hey, why not? NHL and NBA playoffs are going on in August.

you think you sound smart; but you really just got this from reading Clay Travis’ twitter. Sad.

Rob Parker is at least twice as smart as Clay Travis, the guy who was spiking the ball over Florida having “flattened the curve” in early April lmao

and yeah his take there is right on brand

I'm telling you what was said. I said they didn't cancel basketball, you told me I'm wrong.

I don't think most people are expecting the season to start in November, I think January in a bubble or the Spring.
