I've mentioned this before, but I've noticed that the camera angles for most Big East games are similar to what you see in the NBA, while at most ACC venues and at KU tonight I feel like I'm sitting somewhere in section 200 row double-Z.
I don't know if it's a matter of the position of the primary camera or the lack of zooming in on the action. I'm inclined to think the camera position for example here in the KU game is positioned much higher than the positions at Gampel and XL for instance. In Gampel's case, the arena is small and the camera is located very close to the action, but XL is a pro-style arena.
Anyone else notice this and find that game less interesting watching much of the action from the rafters? The worst has to be Cameron Indoor. It's bad enough watching Dook play, but to watch it from the ceiling is annoying.
I like when the camera is directly behind the shooter and you see it going in as it leaves the shooter's hand.
