for some reason the rankings arent reflecting this.
2 BIG10 teams have 5 losses but are still be ranked whereas only 2 BE teams are ranked total. xavier at 10-2 should be ranked and we shouldnt have dropped out with only 3 losses. 15 of the top 25 teams have 3 or more losses and we play in the third toughest conference (or toughest according to this metric)

LOL. Wow we have the 143 and 144th best teams. LOL. Look at the Top 25. 2 Big East teams. The Big 10 has 6. The Big 12 has 6. ACC has 4. SEC has 3. But we are a legacy league.

what is the aac if not a legacy league? it's conference usa with a shinier label
we all developed inferiority complexes while in the aac but you and palatine and Butch are the only ones with a BE inferiority complex.

We read all this crap about the Big East being this dominant league but it is just not. A GOOD league? Sure. But we’ll below the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12 and SEC. maybe on a par with the PAC which is not great either. And frankly, Villanova has covered for a pretty mediocre post season performance by everyone else. I haven’t looked it up recently but I think only Xavier has gone past the first weekend since the New Big East was created. Look at post season performance. Look at rankings. Look at tv ratings. Everyone knows it is not the old Big East. It lives on the memories of that league and the performance of Villanova.

If you think the ACC is good this year you have not been paying attention. But we all know that is case.

This is definitely a down year for the BE though. As we knew it would be. That is further exacerbated by a poor (or non-existant) non-con slate. Even still, a down year being a top 5 conference when it's been consistently top 2-3 since the reincarnation... I guess one can live with that.
One thing is for certain, B10 gets too much respect. Some of the analytics get affected by the overall slow tempo of most B10 programs and put them higher than they should be. This flows down into things like AP rankings. That's partly why they rank so high as a conference but overall do not do great in major conference head to heads.
