The Big 12 has three teams that have the potential to be chosen as 2 seeds. One almost definitely will. Two of the three are possible!

Baylor 12-3 (22-5) NET 7
Iowa State 12-3 (22-4) NET 9
Texas 10-5 (20-6) NET 10

All three have favorable matchups today

Baylor and Iowa St square of Monday for the regular season championship

The tournament next weekend should be Very interesting.

Shoutout to Oklahoma fir greatly exceeding expectation and to Ayoka Lee at KState for being the great player she is.

Kansas State vs. Oklahoma today too. Last time Lee had 61 points vs them.

Baylor/Kansas could be interesting today. Kansas lost by 3 the first time and is 10-5 in conference play. Baylor looks the best out of the 3 teams right now so I think they'll roll but that could be compelling.

Also, Iowa State plays Texas Tech who is dangerous despite being just 3-12 in conference play. They have double digit wins over Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas State, and out of their 12 losses, 8 have been by single digits, with 5 of those losses coming by 5 points or fewer.
Good games on deck today.

Which NET rankings are you viewing? I see Texas at 7; ISU at 9, and Baylor at 10:

I agreed with this up until Wednesday where Baylor barely won on the road against a pretty bad Oklahoma State team, 65-58 (with like 400 fans in the stands). That road performance makes me change my mind that they can win at ISU on Monday night in front of 10,000 fans.

This is the official one:

Thats why I mentioned before, playing on the road is a much more different animal. Now, I think Baylor if they play to their capabilities is a better team and a bad matchup for Iowa St but thats not how it works often. Its tough to keep that level up on the road but we will see. It should be a wild environment at ISU

ISU or Baylor will claim a share of Big 12 title tonight as they face off in Ames, IA; 6 PM Central on ESPN2.

After 3 quarters, Baylor leads by 26 points. Ashley Joens with 4 personal fouls.

Looks like another 20+ point loss for ISU in the conference.

Weird season for Iowa State. They're 13-4 in conference and all four losses—two each to Baylor and Texas—have been blowouts. But none of their 13 wins, except for the game at Kansas State, were really close either. For them it really is about matchups.

I said it elsewhere but it bears repeating. NaLyssa Smith is a woman among girls. One of the best athletes I've ever seen in the college game. She's so ready for the next level.

Gotta hand it to Baylor. After that close loss at home to Oklahoma after which Collen had a passive-aggressive meltdown in the press conference, they haven't lost since.

Collen deserves a lot of credit this year. I was skeptical (and still am about next year) but she was able to turn this season around and Baylor looks like a legitimate title contender now. Really good job in her first year after a rough stretch there.

Ha. I had the exact same thought watching that game,. that Smith was a woman among girls.

Iowa State has almost no inside presence. Joens is relentless and a great player, but she's only 6'. They might get out of Ames but after that they'll be done unless they shoot 60% from 3.

Baylor is actually a dangerous team. Without foul trouble. They will make noise.

What's amazing is that Egbo's minutes last night were severely curtailed by foul trouble. But her backup Bickle had maybe her best game ever, Smith had another all-world performance, and Lewis went off for 5-7 from three. The rout was on.
