Any Big 12 fans with an feedback from yesterday's Big 12 WBB media day? I am not big on listening to media day coach speak and scripted responses from players but would be interested in local media or fans impressions.

Apparently Iowa State has ID'd four starters, Crooks, Brown, Ryan and Jackson. Marquette transfer Kenzie Hare and Kelsey Joens are battling for the third spot. Reportedly Hare is dealing with a hip injury going back to last season. Any of you Big East peeps know anything about that?

Was at Arizona's preseason effort against West Texas A&M. Very different look and a lot of talent, but I always take exhibitions with a big grain of salt. Paulina Paris was the player of the game, most played well, Montaya Dew is back was not productive (it is her first real game in something like 2 years) and both former walk-ons even got to briefly play. In fact both scored, one on a free-throw, the other had a put-back and also free throws in the next play. Not bad for 2 minutes playing time.
