Seems to me we are headed towards a barbell salary structure, where you hand out near max to most of the core, are forced to fill out the last few roster spots near the minimum, and have maybe 1-3 in-between where negotiations will be very important to make the numbers work. Also in general I suspect this cap will result in most, not some, opting for a roster at the minimum 11 to squeeze out a few more bucks for a more relevant player.
