Georgetown lost all three to DePaul this season. DePaul isn't as horrible under Holtmann in his first season but that's still disastrous for Georgetown and Cooley.

This is the big difference between the #2 seed and #3 seed in the Big East. Creighton has cinch of a game against DePaul while UConn will get a tough Nova team that is capable of beating lots of good teams and losing to crap teams.

UConn would have had to finish 1 game above Creighton to get the #2 seed even if they did not implode against Seton Hall because Creighton would get the tiebreaker since they split with St. John's while UConn got swept by St. John's.
