This is bigger. We knocked off the king of the Big East. A very well coached, veteran team. This is the best win of the season.

This was our A game. So much had to go well for this to happen. Firstly let’s acknowledge how well Nova played. They did everything right. Shot the lights out from 3 and the line. Got gifted 3 points and we still overcame it.

We played incredible defense up and down the roster. Hawk bodied Gillespie in the post and matched his toughness. We stayed on the floor literally and figuratively. We matched their physicality on both ends.

We used the high hedge to perfection @Chief00

We got great bench scoring including from Gaff who played great minutes.

We got 8:1 ATO from our point forward Jackson including a pistol Pete dime.

Polley hit the big one.

Adama was perfect and hit two HUGE free throws.

Martin played perfectly aggressive and took his rhythm 3s even handling some bad passes in the process.

Whaley’s defense and rebounding and toughness were all exactly what we want from him.

It was really an all around excellent game from both sides.

I went back and watched the Hurley sequence at halftime. Martin was hacked. The first T was questionable but fine if you want to whistle a guy for slapping the scorers table 5 seconds after it happened it’s not that crazy, just questionable. The 2nd T is one of the worst calls I’ve ever seen.

The biggest nightmare for this team is facing a team that drains 3s. Youre right. Nova shot the lights out and we still won. I can't say enough about how much that means. @OkaForPrez

Kimani did a great job. Kids did a great job. A little too much playing into Wright’s hands by force feeding it to Sanogo, but they gutted it out.

This was the more significant win at the time.

The Auburn win was good, but only began to look excellent after the fact when they won like 15 in a row. They were only like #18 when we played them.

Nova was top 10 and surging.
