I don't think we've ever beaten a top 20 team on the road, have we?

I think the win at Notre Dame was the biggest win in school history, with USF victory to get to Fiesta Bowl a distant number 2.

Ok. Best team we've ever beaten.

It's a signature win for our program. Who'd imagine we'd have gotten one under PP?

USF was ranked higher

Yeah, but USF dropped like stone. UofL will certainly finish higher than USF that year. Even if they lose to Rutgers.

Agree 1000%.

I was there and that will always be, to me, the win that got us a seat at the grownup's table.

Don't disagree with the ND part. . . But UConn has no seat at the grown up table right now. The Big East has disintegrated and every conference looking to add teams seems to be looking for teams not named UConn.

Swofford is smiling somewhere right now.

By itself, it has to rank behind the Notre Dame and USF wins, especially since UConn still needs to beat Cincy to make a bowl game. But when you factor in the ACC expansion stuff, it certainly takes on more meaning.

Can media members and Louisville fans duck* off about Louisville having the vastly superior football program? But are solid, but not great.

It's gotta be USF first (BCS bowl against Oklahoma in front of the whole country) and ND a close second and this 3rd. I know this win alone won't get us into the ACC, but it's the imagery of adding this win to our superior market, academics, etc that makes it so much sweeter especially before the ACC's meeting on Monday.

Just looks so damn good.

RG3 and Baylor along with South Carolina in Birmingham were very good teams.

Actually, Louisville is a decent team that's overachieved.

But the nation thinks they're going to save ACC football.

Delusional.

Nd is best win no matter what

Agreed. ND win slightly edges out the South Carolina win (by a tiny amount), but this win has to be top 5, I would think....what a beautiful defensive performance!!!
