I thought UCLA was among the biggest winners of the portal this off-season. Close added Dugalic, Thomas, Penn, and Conti. That was a pretty impressive haul and it filled some holes in the roster left by Onyenwere, Miller, and Corsaro.

Lawson did a solid job as well. She added some kids who (based on their expectations) underachieved, and I’m interested to see what she can get out of them. Lewis and Taylor had solid careers at Wisconsin and Texas.

From a pure accolades perspective of who's actually accomplished anything in college like 1st All Conference, the list is pretty small.
Juhasz tOSU 1st team
Lewis Ala 2nd team
Rogers USC 1st team
Johnson Rutgers 2nd team
Imani Lewis Wisc Honorable Mention
Moon Ursin Bay 2nd team
Cardoso Syr 1st team
Kiara Lewis Syr Honorable Mention
Anastasia Hayes MTSU 1st team POY

So from a P5 perspective, I only see 3 1st team selections and 3 2nd team selections. Hayes was POY in Conf USA.

I am super happy with the 3 Arizona got so far (and hope there's a 4th soon) because they fill needs, but I did covet Dorka Juhasz quite a bit.

Does Nyah count as an off-season transfer? I thought she transferred mid-season?

Time will tell, but I think RU's best transfer may be Lasha Petree, who was first team all MVC at Bradley and put up 33pts in first round NCAA game versus Texas.

UCLA, Arizona and Duke seem to be the big winners. I think Cardoso is the top player who has been picked up but won't be a big impact player at SC this year.

Like Arkansas's additions of Goforth and Dauda ... although not sure the latter technically qualifies as a transfer. Lots of young talent in Fayetteville.

Really like what Lawson was able to do at Duke, too.

I think Diamond Johnson is the least discussed big pickup.

the Tulane transfer that went to Miss state is maybe my next most interesting one.

I am amused at the folks who don't want to think Cardoso will make much of an impact.

she's going to play 25 mpg and she's going to be a lot better than the players who were getting those minutes. No offense to them but she is.

I’m interested to see the impact of J Jordan from Tulane and A Jones from Temple have on Mississippi State. Both have the potential to be great defensive players, especially in a press.
Cardoso may have the biggest impact on the national scene. She completely changes what South Carolina can do. She is mobile enough to start along side A Boston and almost ensures South Carolina can always have at least one elite post player in the game at all times.

AJ Marotte (Washington) to Oregon State (not huge but significant enough in my opinion)

Not really a transfer though. Never enrolled at or attended UW. Asked out of her LOI and it was granted.

Anyway UW getting Katie Faulkner on their staff is going to eventually be a much bigger deal than Marotte reopening her recruitment and ending up at OSU, so UW wins that "trade."

Well, now that we helped our fine SEC fan @SECbbfan24 LSU coaching issue this offseason (and @Dwilliams02 as well!) we can focus our attention to the Huskies and Ms Langley’s rebuild which I view as more urgent than LSU’s.
I am rooting for her (and you) so what happens here will be under much anticipation and scrutiny.
Should be fun

This list is confusing. Many of these players are NOT 5-10........

Uhhh, not sure what's confusing. I pulled a list of about 30 P5 players figuring the top 5-10 would likely be in that group.

Cardoso hands down. She will give Boston some needed rest and eliminate the foul worries that Saxon and Amihere have had to mitigate. She will also give the new freshman class a chance to get used to a faster game than they were used to in high school. Dawn has always gone deep into the bench and I am sure all the girls coming in know this all to well. I see no problems with playing time under Dawn. She uses her bench....and wow...what a bench !!!!!
