Well, looks like I should just close up shop.

Be on the look out for ConnHuskFoot !

Lol! Hey It's gotta be a sign of saying good things when you're like count is almost the same as your post count, right? Usually shows that what you say has impact or is just funny!

Wow, far too many to mention. If it were just a few this place would be boring. I would just say that the ones I enjoy the most aren't the ones I agree with, but some of them are.

The entire concept of this thread makes me uncomfortable as it expresses sentiments heretofore foreign to this establishment.

I think it was Fishy who posted on the hoops board that he was gonna make a thread about posters he hates, but he had to take a day off from work to do so.

That is much more Boneyardesque.

I do always enjoy a UConnDan97 and Whaler heated exchange now and then. I feel like it's been awhile since we've had one of these. Let's get back to it boys!

We haven't been able to argue since Whaler decided to use sound reasoning in his statements, so it's his fault... :p

I enjoy many posts of the aforeto mentioned "best" posters on the BY. But I have to wonder, is this call to vote for the best posters maybe the beginning of poster realignment on the BY, the equivalent of CR? Can it be that there's a move afoot in the BY to separate the popular posters into the equivalent of a P5 and leave the rest of us wannabees languishing in G5 poster purgatory? Please say it ain't so!

There should be a sub-category for posters with the best NSFW avatars.

All my talk of how we played YMCAs, trade schools, high schools, Yale, and no one mentions me. :(

Butch, you have an abysmal Messages to Likes Received ratio - definitely a problem somewhere there. I would go over to the BC or Fruit webboard, drop some A-bombs and get banned so that you can hone your A-game and come back here and start raining fire on us.

I agree with most of everyone else, so here are my honorable mentions:

ChinDiesel - Always has a new beer for me to try ...
John - Stalks like no other ...
Sportsart - Does not suck .......... energy
Nostical - Has Susan on speed dial ...

"...please don't stick me with Tulane and the BC posters.....please don't stick me with Tulane and the BC posters..." :(

Well once Spackler declared he was getting paid... slipperly slope. The Football board is committed to the full cost of attendance. If you folks from the women's hoop board don't want to step up maybe CPTV can sell umbrellas for $100 to keep up?

Crap....with a username like mine I don't have a shot of making it into the P5:)

If you guys relocate your main campus to Lowell, you never know...

Ouch...that hurt!
It's possible with Amherst but centering it at Lowell would make UMass skyrocket, as a whole. Sad Bay-centric mindset. What can I say?

Personally, I am all for a western Mass version of UMass.

If we're going to start splitting posters, there are specific sets of criteria that I think each and every one of us should answer:

1. Is the poster a member of the AAU...er...UAA? UCONN Alumni Association membership is vital to assuring the Boneyard's intellectual integrity.

2. Where does the poster live? Thanks to our Conference Realignment thread, the Boneyard seems to be shifting towards westward expansion. But it also can't forget about its northeast roots. Riodogs and CAHUSKY give the Boneyard reach into impressive international and domestic markets, for example. So we must ask ourselves, how much do we want to sacrifice of our core northeastern ideology to expand?

3. Subscriber carriage rates: where does the poster primarily post? If posts originate from a shared wifi connection, well that does the Boneyard no good. We don't want to share revenue with anyone, especially with some 17 year old hipster at a local Starbucks using the wifi to play games.

4. History. Posters should have a significant posting history on the Boneyard to gain entrance into Tier 1. Exception: newer posters may gain entrance with an impressive like to post ratio (let's use 4:16 or 1/4 as our guide ;)).

5. Winners. In other words, we're looking for top like to post ratio posters. Fishy, tcf___, etc.

Not necessarily. If you go by the criteria that I would use to judge Tier 1 posters, you have a solid like to post ratio of 2:1. Plus, you give the Boneyard reach into the fertile posting grounds of MA. We'd have to do something about your academics, but I guess exceptions can be made. :)

All well and good but you omitted the one and only thing that matters. If the poster resides in the densely populated area of Northern NJ, they get to ride the financial coattails of a P5 conference. They get extra bonus points if they continually embarrass themselves and their posts for the most part suck.

I agree with zoo. Really are too many to name for me personally, and the ones I don't always agree with I find most entertaining.

When you can get a bunch of likes for posting pictures of scrotums.. I worry that ratio may not be indicitive of quality...

Lol! Also, if you post in a game thread it kind of throws off your ratio as you're probably posting a decent amount.

There are four posters I always read when their posts are the most recent bizlaw, fishy, whaler, and nelson muntz. The four probably couldn't be more different.

Also really like jimmy Serrano, Excalibur, zoo cougar and I I've always appreciated sportsart undying support of the program. Lrock doesn't post much now but I liked his posts also.

Overall, I think this is one of the best fan boards out there, and why we get so many visitors only a handful of which really annoy me.

Thanks buddy, you and I have seen eye to eye a lot over the years. I don't post very often so I feel like a lot of the new guys don't even really know me as a poster.
My list:
Fishy
When he posts its 100% guaranteed that I'm going to laugh and in some cases it will bring me to tears.
Palatine
People hate him, its really funny to see how angry some posters get when he says anything at all. But Palatine AKA Bush has been around since the beginning and he probably hates BCU more than any human being to ever walk the face of this earth.
NelsonMuntz
See my first sentence about Palatine.
Pudge
Pudge is funny because he goes hard on drinking the cool-aid but his cool-aid inspired posts are always so rational and well thought out that its hard to disagree with him even though you completely disagree with him. That takes talent.
HFD
Pure entertainment. Where is he?
JnYce
Only because I LOVE how mad he gets with people call him JOYCE and I also like how proud he is to be from Fairfield County...I'm with you buddy, I've been gone for 10 years but I'm FC for life!
CaliChick
She HATED all of us...especially me, she dissapeared like Machiavelli but I'm betting she will rise again one day with 2Pac.

A former poster...we'll just call him The Bear - I assume he still lurks. We battled back in the day but we also met one another off-line and in my brief experience he was an all around good guy though others say different. Hope he's doing well.
Posters I agree with most:
Noeynox
Though after 12 years I still don't think I know how to pronounce your handle correctly.
WiscHusky
I know he changed his handle but I'm not sure who he is now or if he still posts.
Sidebar:
I've never understood the fascination with all things Bizlaw. No offense to the guy, I appreciate him as a fan and as a poster but I always felt like people treated him like he's the smartest guy in the room because of his handle. If my handle was NuclearScientist/FootballGenius I have a feeling that many of the same posters that LOVE Bizlaw's posts would take everything I said as GOLD! Again no offense to the guy but some of you are like Bizlaw groupies. He and I rarely agree so I really don't get it and in terms of the "analysis"...he does a good job recapping the game and pointing out things that anyone who knows anything about football would understand...again I just don't get it. Maybe its me.
This place used to be really fun. hopefully the team can get back to winning and this place being fun again.
