Early childhood pizza experience- [B]Madison Pizza[/B] on Rte 1 near the Guilford line. It was in a little grey house across the street from the Hob-Nob (my Grandma's favorite restaurant). Both long-gone I'm sure. Anybody remember them? I can still remember poking holes in the cheese with a fork to let the heat out so it wouldn't burn my mouth. Started my love affair with pizza.
 
Torrington- lotsa good pies to be had there. Favs are [B]Nicholas Pizza [/B]on Water St, [B]Pizza Palace[/B] on East Main (also good chef salads and anti-pasto) and possibly the winner, [B]The Berkshire[/B] on Albert St.

[B]Hometown Pizza[/B] Harwinton. good thin crust, especially their Italian Flag pizza. Fresh mozz, sun-dried tomatoes and broccoli. YUM.

A place, now closed probably for 10-15 years that was on Main st in East Hartford. Classic pizza with lotsa cornmeal. Can't for the life of me remember the name. Help?
 
 
FYI the best pizza in Rio de Janeiro is the one I make in my house. The pizza here SUCKS.
