Best glue guy on an NBA title team

While Rodman was a GREAT rebounder, he was also a shut down defender, a guy who would dive all over the floor, a guy who would get in the head of his opponents & basically a guy who loved doing the dirty work… That's a glue guy.

My problem with calling Dennis Rodman a glue guy is that the first thing I think of as for what a glue guy should be is calming factor; someone to hold the team together and focus on a goal. As good as he was at being the dirty work guy I never saw him as a leader. I think there has to be some leadership to a glue guy. You are right about everything you said. Glue guy or not you want him out there for you.

Posey, Eddie House, and Brian Scalabrine were the glue guys on the 07-08 Celtics.

Can't deny Kurt Rambus on the 80's Lakers' teams.

Dennis Rodman is a Hall of Famer and probably a top-10 power forward all-time. He was one of the biggest stars on those Bulls teams. He wasn't a glue guy just because he didn't score many points.
