Dennis Rodman
Robert Horry
Vinnie Johnson
Bill Laimbeer, basically the whole bad boy Pistons team aside from Isiah, Dumars and Aguirre.
Derek Fisher
Horace Grant

You seem to have a different definition of glue guy than most.

go ahead and add to the discussion then thats what this board is for

Sure. Tayshaun Prince, Lamar Odom, Shawn Marion, Chris Bosh, Rajon Rondo.

Rondo and Bosh are not glue guys. Ill give you Tayshaun, and Marion, Odom sure I guess.

Defensively, Bosh is a glue guy. Rondo wasn't a superstar in 2008 so he should be included as well.

Bosh was a 20 ppt scorer in Toronto, he's not a pro typical glue guy, I know Rondo wasn't a superstar in 08 but I just don't look at him as a glue guy on that 08 team I view James Posey, PJ Brown, Cassell as glue guys.

A lot of these guys look like 6th men to me and not glue guys. Glue guys are jacks-of-all-trades that do the little things to help teams win.

Scott Burrell. Can't imagine where the Bulls would have been without him.

Re: Rodman - not sure the greatest pound for pound rebounder ever is a "glue guy."

I'd go with Rambis.

While Rodman was a GREAT rebounder, he was also a shut down defender, a guy who would dive all over the floor, a guy who would get in the head of his opponents & basically a guy who loved doing the dirty work… That's a glue guy.

After the series he just had why isn't anyone showing Boris some love? I know there's not much flash to him and he's French but honestly, you watched the series, you saw his impact.

My problem with calling Dennis Rodman a glue guy is that the first thing I think of as for what a glue guy should be is calming factor; someone to hold the team together and focus on a goal. As good as he was at being the dirty work guy I never saw him as a leader. I think there has to be some leadership to a glue guy. You are right about everything you said. Glue guy or not you want him out there for you.

Posey, Eddie House, and Brian Scalabrine were the glue guys on the 07-08 Celtics.

Can't deny Kurt Rambus on the 80's Lakers' teams.

Dennis Rodman is a Hall of Famer and probably a top-10 power forward all-time. He was one of the biggest stars on those Bulls teams. He wasn't a glue guy just because he didn't score many points.
