and now the ACC is 6-7, which is worse than the Big east in 2011. Even if Duke and UNC both win 3 each before losing, that would be 12-9 which is still a step behind the Big east and that 13-10 in 2011 = Better.

So is the 2015 ACC is better conference than the 2011 Big East?
2015 ACC
Conference record: 17-5 (.77)
5 Sweet Sixteen teams
1 Final Four team
1 Nat'l champion

2011 Big East
Conference record: 13-10 (.56)
2 Sweet Sixteen teams
1 Final Four team
1 Nat'l champion (U-C-O-N-N in case you forgot)

And yes, I'm playing Rothstein's/Devil's advocate.

I'm pretty sure the ACC is 6-6.
Louisville: 1-1
VT: 0-1
UVA: 1-1
Duke: 1-0
UNC: 1-0
ND: 1-1
FSU: 1-1
Miami: 0-1

UPDATE: I'm not counting the "first four" play-in game. WF lost that game.
Might as well count UNC and Duke as a win today. I am 99% sure they are going to the sweet 16. So counting those two, acc will move up to 8-7. Lets see what happens next week as the two flagship programs continue to carry the conference and its rep.

I'm honestly confused by the argument here. Again, the 2011 Big East's record was 13-10.
And the ACC's record right now is 6-7. With unbelievably favorable seeding up and down the line. What's so hard to understand? Plus you have ESPN and other media fawning all over the ACC as the best conference ever. Not a tough concept to grasp here.

If you are not counting a team that got an invite to the tourney you can't count the losses of big east teams eliminating another big east team. Gotta keep it fair

Duke has a difficult game today. Almost a home game for South Carolina and they play very good defense. Not a gimme win by any means

All the ACC talk. I'll leave it to this Pitino nugget to describe that talk. "It's the dumbest thing I've ever heard of"
