Too many to mention. While I like dozens of comics currently working of all stripes, I particularly enjoy cerebral comics with no fear of skewing anybody or anything. And of those, as good as Chappelle or Gervais are, there's nobody I've seen as fearless as Doug Stanhope.

I do wish Patrice was still with us right now.

Chappelle is the king of the hill right now. No question.

Right now? I like Anthony Jeselnik, Louis CK, Amy Schumer, Patton Oswalt. Jimmy Carr. Sebastian Maniscalco.

Legendary: George Carlin, Dave Chapelle
 
The best I've seen in person was Louis CK at the Bushnell a few years ago. That was a comic at the top of his game.

Patrice would be a huge star right now and a needed voice for the current climate, same with Giraldo.

Seen him live 3 or 4 times, he was as good as it gets but the show I saw this past September was a huge letdown.
 
Saw Robin Williams - totally just a unexpected walk in - in Pasadena CA one night

No one like him. Even trying new things he was improvisational genius
 
Gabriel Iglesias is pretty funny, live and on tv.
Jeff Dunham is funny as well. Although he is better live than on tv.

Burr and Maniscalco now are my favorites. Do also enjoy Segura, Poppa, Gervais and Rock as well. Too many guys from 80's and 90's to even list.
 
Saw Larry Miller live in the 90s. He was hysterical. Also Stephen Wright.
