Nobody at UConn could score at all three levels better than Ben. And it seemed like half the time he was holding back.

To your point, at the beginning of the video you posted Ben was averaging 17.5 a game on 45% 3 pt shooting and Calhoun still told him he wasn’t playing as good as he was capable of playing lol

Crazy underrated. Argument could be made he’s right there with Ray and Rip as the best two guard we’ve ever had. Comp soph and jr years.

Ray
21/7/2– 49/45/73
23/6/3– 47/47/81

Rip
21/4/2– 44/40/84
21/5/3– 44/35/83

Ben
20/4/5– 44/42/81
19/5/5– 43/43/83

Loved Ben and he’s one of the best in our history. Also a good comp for Solo Ball to aspire to as a smaller 2G who can shoot the leather off the ball.

Rip and Ray were clearly better than him. Ray was a national player of the year. Rip was back to back Big East player of the year, 1st team all-American, and final 4 MOP. Ben was awesome but he was second best on the team his sophomore and junior seasons.

That was on him. Hopefully he's sticking to whatever plan has been prescribed for him.
That's more debatable your writing errors. Mind your own business, not Ben Gordon's.

"Hopefully" would require a comma after it, and the "he" that follows, as written, refers to Ben Gordon. How do you presume to know that he has a plan prescribed for himself, that he is sticking to any such plan if he has one, and that he is doing so with a sense of hopefulness? That's all conjecture. Stick to your own progress.

Isn't it your responsibility to take care in writing properly? Or is it Ben Gordon's? Btw, Ben asked me to mention this, even though it's not really my responsibility. I'm doing so in support of his upcoming honor.

I agree with Ben that you could posdibly improve your writing if you were not putting your attention on BG.

Fify.
Stick to your own issues, yenta.

Ben was drafted 3rd.
Ray was drafted 5th.
Rip was drafted 7th.

I have zero interest in arguing who is or was better or best, then or since. It certainly will not be part of the February 7th celebration, unless you host a live stream.

It's not actually his fault that he had a better teammate than Ray or Rip ever had.

The elevation on his jumpers, either 3 pointers or mid range, was spectacular. Just a pure all around weapon on offense. He looked like he was headed to the HOF after his 1st 5 years with the Bulls. Lucky to have him at UConn for 3 years as in today's system he would be a one-and-done.
