If anyone is looking for a nice brewery visit, Cisco opened a new place in New Bedford. It's huge, right on the harbor and has a restaurant. The food was quite good. The beer is decent, but they also had other taps. The outdoor open seating space by the water has regular live music, cornhole and the food and drinks are available via a walk-up food court/food truck type arrangement.

Cisco has had a place in Stamford for a few years, part of an office complex on Canal Street, but the view can't compete, Stamford is on an industrial canal! For entertainment Jamie (and/or his Junk Show) makes rounds of the Cisco beer gardens pretty regularly, my favorite "cover/bar" band.

Still, the Cisco in Stamford has a great summertime vibe. Solid food. I lean toward cocktails there, since my beer snobbery won’t allow me to drink Cisco.

Please tell me this isn't the same Cisco fortified wine from the 90's.

I'm over in Europe for work and was gifted a bottle of this. I'll open it open when I get to the states but it looks promising.

My haul from Portland, Maine's Belleflower Brewing. A west coast IPA and an IPA. Also, I simply asked if there was a single can rolling around and she threw in the Scrugsy because I was nice.

As I mentioned yesterday on your Instagram post… I am HIGHLY envious of your Vacationland beer adventures. Have never tasted anything from Belleflower but they have been on my radar for a while.

So went to Davio’s for my wife’s birthday and I spent $19 on an Italian beer. This was a stout. It was good, but quite mild, easy to drink. Didn’t have the overpowering flavors we often see. This had some chili pepper but it was barely noticeable.

Wow!!

It's a #1 must stop for me, even if just to buy and go.

Now Bissell Brothers is on that list.

Bissell’s Here’s to Feeling Good All the Time remains one of my favorite DIPAs of all time. Bissell just brews such clean, beautiful beers.

It’s weird that probably half the Bissell Bros I’ve ever had has been at Gillette Stadium. Trillium, Tilted Barn, Lawton’s, they really have a good set of options.
