Dang, I wanted to start crying. Very good speech and very emotional.

Great speech and tribute in an otherwise completely unwatchable show. Tracy Morgan, who I normally like, was just terrible.

Totally agree, it was so bad haha. Thank God the JC tribute was early.

Outstanding speech that sums up JC. The profanity in the video was a bonus.

Guy is slowing down. I understood every word he said.

That was a terrific speech.

Personally I'm not into hero worship. Food goes in and out the same way in pretty much all of us. However at the 2004 Mohegan Sun Simon and Garfunkel concert I spied JC in the stands. This middle age dude, with his wife's encouragement, went up to him and got his signature on the concert tickets.

Like many of you I followed UConn before JC arrived. Endured some difficult early BE years. But the ride that followed after his arrival was better than I would have scripted.

Simon and Garfunkel, The Everly Brothers and getting Jim Calhoun's autograph after the 2nd natty made that June evening extremely special. Even my wife had a special bounce in her step that evening in spite of the cast on her ankle.

Basketball gave Jim Calhoun hope in hard times

Watching this it's easy to see how this guy was such an incredible coach and mentor. UConn and the entire state of CT will forever be indebted to Coach Calhoun.

What's with the eating grin on Bill Walton's face?

Great speech from a great leader.
They kept panning the audience and the expressions were attentive, contemplative...
And then there was Walton, just groovin' on the light show behind JC.
