So, ursusminor and I are heading to the Mystics game tonight. Any suggestions for good places to eat? Any other BYers gonna be there?

I'll be there behind the visitor's bench. Haven't eaten anywhere downtown since I lived in the area 25 years ago. There's a lot of places right around the Verizon Center though. You have your pick.

The game went pretty much like the Seattle game: Emma Meeseman scored 12 points in the first quarter then was sat down and didn't score another point until the send half (2 points). I missed the first 5 minutes or so but didn't think she scored as many until I got the halftime stats from the Mystics employee. I'd stick with the hot hand as long as possible. Maybe give her a couple of minutes rest after the quarter. In this case she might even have gotten Griner to foul her a few times.
None of the other Mystics (except for Currie) were hitting their shots and they couldn't effectively drive on Griner.

BTW- Chubby Checker was at the game last night. They were interviewing him and a lady next to me asked who he was. I didn't know but a security guy said "Chubby Checker". He (Chubby Checker) shook the lady's hand when he passed by.
