Could UConn and BC schedule a football game every year around Thanksgiving -- maybe at Fenway -- may get more fan attendance than any UMass UConn holiday rivalry.
It will be @ the Rent

Maybe it was the sight of the grounds crew running into the field during each timeout to try and pound the loose infield turf back into place. If there are no roots holding it down, pounding it with heavy tamping tools won’t help.Apparently UConn didn’t care for the Fenway experience according to the Hartford courant podcast a few weeks ago.
Save Fenway for a potential venue for ND

I don't think Uconn gets a home and home with BC after this series. If that was going to happen, don't you think that would have been announced too? BC will probably want any future series like they have with UMass to be a 2 or 3 for 1.
The Fenway group really likes UConn - remember they wanted Notre Dame to play against UConn there until BC through a hissy fit - but no chance UConn gives up both home games against BC. They know the fans would be livid.
Livid fans or not the decision will be driven by $. If in 22 we have not gotten a significant bump is season tickets and Fenway makes a reasonable offer, we will take it.
The leaves? There will be a good reason for bigtime teams to visit New England in October. Murphreesboro TN or Las Cruces NM or Toledo OH ...
Connecticut media all over twitter announcing this "new" series... SMH.
Just to show you how much the people/media in Boston care about BC both the Globe and the Herald had "mentions" of a newly signed UConn/BC series in today's editions.
