Replace Marquette with PC and you have a pretty good list

No clue how Marquette made the list.

Perennial tournament team, great attendance and a decent history.

Not to mention the new big east tv deal pays more to the basketball schools than the old one did ( which the article states otherwise).

Lol Rutgers:

Julie Hermann. It's that simple. If you're a coach at Rutgers, you have to deal with her. And she's a daily public relations nightmare for her university and the athletic programs it supports.

They made the list because the article is poorly written, and I doubt the writer did more than 15 minutes of research before writing it. Vetting and editing are nothing more than lost concepts from a time long ago....

BC athletics is a duck*ing train wreck. As bad a job as Hathaway did putting P in place, it doesn't even compare to the carnage that GDF left behind.

But he did succeed in up UConn and that was his job 1.

i agree the article is poorly written. he also mentions that Marquette plays in an old arena when they in fact play in the same one as the Bucks. Must have a well trained fact checker on staff.

You know, I actually think there is some truth to that. I think once he got BC into the ACC and helped in keeping UCONN out he was pretty much on cruise control and he let everything, and I mean everything, implode around him. Total and utter incompetence....
