I am pretty sure UConn's athletic department will take note of this. Saban will be retired by then. The Patriots must have also helped the cause.

So they're playing them at BC's stadium or will they force them to play at Gillette like they typically do for games like this?

The kids that'll be playing the game in 2034 are like 5 years old now
No doubt, and Bama will likely target even more northeast alumni donations and recruit even more higher paying out-of-state northeast students during the next few decades. Follow the money.

Saw the announcement in AL.com this AM. Older Bama fans have had a 'thing' for the Chestnut Hill crowd since the 80's so this should make them happy if they are still alive in 14years.

As an aside the next article on AL.com was about a Groom's Cake made by a local bakery in the form of Bryant-Denny Stadium. Fed almost 300 people and cost $4500.

Who said Bama fans are nuts?

Wow, that's pretty generous of them.

Wow...

Great work by BC. This is the type of thing we need to do in both football and basketball. Schedule strong H/H OOC conference games into the 10 year + future. With the addition of BC, Bama already has over 10 OOC games scheduled in the 2030’s. Of course, UConn FB isn’t Bama but that type of scheduling needs to be our stretch goal.

When they see how inconsequential BC is in Boston, they will see the error of their ways.
I am sure they did the research. They'd make BC look irrelevant on the football field, anyway. BC is the one who might regret this. Alabama obviously wants students from New England.

Bama wants more out of state students. Simple.

There are certain southern schools I could see being appealing for NE HS kids.
Bama ain't one of them.

Nice get for BCU.

Don't know if many of you realize that in-state undergraduates are <40% of Bama undergrads already. The percentage of in-state undergrads has been declining for a decade and is starting to bother many here in AL.

So their own school works against their own residents?!?!

I do remember that girl from NJ who got expelled for a racist rant. Was wondering how some girl from NJ ended up in Tuscaloosa.

Person that I knows son, from Ohio, was leaning towards Purdue for Engineering. The were discussing what their financial aide package might look at with the Purdue Admission's department. The person on the Purdue Addmission department suggeted they look at Alabama becuase of the packages Alabam was offering. They ended up at Alabama for free.

It's true for more than just Bama. Out of state students bring in more income via higher tuition rates.
In state students still have the directional Alabama's for in state education- South, West or North Alabama.
Auburn, UAB and Alabama Huntsville are other in state public options. And I'd argue each of them offer programs as good as if not better than what they'd get at Tuscaloosa.

56.5% of Alabama students come from elsewhere in the United States and an additional 3.8% are international students.
