Pretty excited for this game very curious if it will be Nichols or Huska in net...go huskies!

WHOA..there is a Payusov sighting tonight. He has been a scratch since the beginning of the season. Interesting pairing of Masonius/Gendron.

Prior to the games on January 14, UConn had an 8 point lead over Providence and Northeastern.

Most likely following tonight, they will have a 2 point lead over Providence for 8th and a 3 point lead on Northeastern for 9th.

Northeastern will have played 1 extra game by the end of this weekend. Providence plays 2 against New Hampshire this weekend.

UConn has played awesome outside of a really bad start.

IDK about that no goal call. Especially to overturn a good goal.

Explain please

I'm watching a stream, but it was a scramble in front of woll and spencer naas slapped it in and it was considered a good goal.

Apparently, with the BC goalie already on his butt and sorta to the goalies left of the crease, I guess the refs considered it goalie interference and it was enough to overturn a good goal.

IMHO, not enough evidence to overturn a good goal.

Ojantakanen knocked Woll down. Tough call but good call.

UConn was by far the better team for 58 minutes. Nichols made UConn's save of the year in the third.

So they've played two good games on the road at VT and BC with.nothing to show for it

Great save
And yet another reminder of how bad mesonius is on defense
What a horrid horrid giveaway
Happens at least once a game with hi do we have enough defensemen to put him at wing

Masonius was actually a forward during the UVM game with Austin taking his spot. No Austin in the line up tonight thus #13 on D

Well I hope cavanaugh revisits the plan after watching that play unfold

He was at forward in the Vermont game but shifted back to defense early on because Nyberg had an in-game injury from what I recall, but from the brief time he played up he looked better. Simply put he can't play defense, not without being a liability to the team.

What frustrates me with this team is that they can play that well against UVM and BC, and stink up the joint in losses to Yale and Maine just before. They can lose these games, but they need to stop losing to teams they should beat.
