That's allowed Ollie to go with the spread offense. Samuel and Boat are able to drive to the hoop because they're better at driving the ball than the opponent's second and third best wing defender. It's tough to give help because the other players can all knock down threes.

With Samuel, Boat and Bazz UConn can initiate offense from three distinct areas of the floor, they can't be pressed and the defensive pressure from the three of them is suffocating.

They haven't faced a team like ours, but we haven't faced a frontcourt like theirs. Even without Caulley-Stein, they have Randle, Poythress, and Johnson, all at least 6'8 230. They are not deep in the guard position, however, it's basically the twins and Young.

Wisconsin scored a bunch at the rim uncontested because they went with the five out philosophy. That worked for us like a secret play we went to time and again. Florida had no understanding of how DD continually got behind them for easy baskets. I was just laughing every time DD set a screen and rolled to the hoop off the ball, no communication on D from the veteran team.

Love when TSam just puts his head down and bullies his way to the hoop. I see lots if three point plays in his future

It's our best lineup. And we need to force Kentucky to match our style, like we forced Florida to.

Weird, but that lineup is not a formidable/intimidating one but it works very well as one unit.

Should be interesting to see what Ollie does. The Huskies will be smaller at every position on the floor. Might as well go with UConn's strength though and see if that small lineup can work.
