Not totally certain of the Wolves' roster for next season, but would love to see Shabazz start the season as back-up PG. He had some good stretches with the Nets and the Blazers, would love to see him get some more consistent PT.

as of Wednesday his $1.8m contract became guaranteed. Hopefully he can get some good minutes this year and pick up a nice contract when hes a FA at the end of the season. It would be pretty cool if he could find his way to Boston in 2020-2021

That stat regarding his defensive prowess in the article appears to suggest that his athleticism is how he is successful. I counter it is his smarts. Defensive positioning is often times more important than physical gifts and he definitely knew where to be in the those Championships.

If he has a good year as a back up what would his next contract look like? 2/3 years for $10m?

Bazz is an underrated athlete. Measurables are very good. You wouldn’t know it by his style of play. He’s got old man game with all the physical tools except height.

He just hasn't shot the ball that well. He'd be a pretty darn good pg if he could get his shooting % up

I have a feeling the kid who played his sophomore year with a rat tail isn’t doing a ton of frivolous spending.
