Thoughts:
Odyssey Sims looks great.
The Lady Bears play a fairly tight D
A whole lot of kids play reasonably well
Playing against a completely overmatched team
Can't tell much…different but about the level of UTenn, maybe a little better.
Kim looks a little heavy.
The color guy is such a Baylor homer, nauseating.

This color guy is irritating and makes a lot of mistakes.

Freshman Davis still looking good. I like little Hayden at the point. She is active and will be good.

Why Robertson gets so much playing time is beyond me.

Tense match between teams Fenson and Schuster. When asked the difference between his mediocre curling yesterday as compared to today Schuster credited a nice lunch and a massage. You just don't get that kind of insight outside of curling.

Still.....Team Fenson is up 4-3 in the 9th.

I remember working in New Zealand and couldn't understand a word for 2 or 3 weeks

Baylor is about what I thought they would be. Sims dominated.

We won't know anything about their NCAA chances until they play Kentucky and Uconn,their only good OOC teams.

I'm not talking about Baylor as a team. Just Sims. She is a great player and I think the Rice players are happy to be able to gauge their game against a player like her. Btw...the player who is matched up against Sims (#5 for Rice) is Reem Moussa. She played for the U19 Egypt team.

Imani Wright is the best freshman on the Baylor team. The girl can flat out shoot the ball.

Sins could beat out most of the WNBA point guards for a starting position. She is at a WNBA level on defense and offense. I wouldn't be surprises to see her in the next Olympics.
