A good replacement for Destiny Brown, it appears.

"The No. 1-ranked Baylor Lady Bears picked up a commitment Tuesday night from Imani Wright, a 5-11 shooting guard out of Liberty Eylau High School in Texarkana who's ranked 31st overall and No. 7 in the nation at her position by ESPN's HoopGurlz. Wright was heavily recruited by the likes of Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee and Kentucky. The early signing period for college basketball begins Nov. 14, and Wright is expected to sign then."

Congrats to Baylor. Glad to see she didn't choose tennessee... do you know who it came down to (ie. final 2), or was it just one of the 5?

#31 HG but #56 BS and #52 ASGR for a consensus #45

Moves Baylor to a top 15 class.

Not completely sure about this, but there was some talk that the final 2 for Wright were Baylor and Louisville.

Walz needed to do better than just Henderson and the junior college point guard for 2013 after a very average 2012 class. Two committed players changed their minds and decided on Kentucky, and Louisville came in second for Russell and a couple of other highly recruited kids.

KennyK predicted Arkansas - yet another he got wrong!

I'm not trying to rag on him; I like his posts but seems clear he's better at evaluating talent than predicting where it will go!

Or maybe, the face bookers, instagramers and tweeters are playing the rankers etc at their own game!

Boy Walz just continues to swing and miss. I agree - L'ville unfortunately going nowhere fast, even after adding uber assistant/recruiting coach Sam Williams. I'm kinda stunned that UNC is recruiting so well with Stafford-Odom and Louisville seems to be flaming out...

I'm not sure I would agree about his evaluating abilities either. At one point, he insisted that Kailee Johnson was the best player in the class and Kaela Davis was not even top 20.

I'm not a fan of Davis, but it seems that everyone but Kenny thought she will be an impact player and top 3 in 2013.

But who knows maybe Kenny will prove to a the genius and everyone else wrong.

Im not surprised at all. In my opinion, the only things that Louisville has as drawing cards would be the fan support, and the aspect of going to college in an urban enviroment (that may appeal to some recruits). As much as it pains me to say, I hear that UNC is a pretty desirable place for 4 years of college, and it should be an easy place to recruit to. Location, Academics, Weather, and some athletes love the sissy blue uniforms.

Now please excuse me as I go vomit
