Until a judge says no you don't.
I'd take this guy.I'm using the examples we have right now and these guys aren't good. I don't believe Naija played in the GLeague but did play in the NBA Summer League and he isn't doing much of anything for Baylor and they aren't winning games with him. Santa Clara signed Thierry Darlan from the GLeauge, I watched Santa Clara vs Gonzaga a couple of weeks ago and he was arguably the worst rotation player on the court. Louisville signed former GLeague player London Johnson with the plan to play the 2nd semester and he was performing so poorly in practice that the head coach decided to redshirt him. BYU signed GLeague player Abdullah Ahmed and he's just a warm body, you can find all these types from the HS ranks or Juco looking to move up. Here are their stats except Johnson since he hasn't played.
Becoming????What are we doing here? Eligibility is becoming a joke.
Larry Bird was drafted 6th overall by the Boston Celtics in the 1978 NBA Draft, but famously stayed in college at Indiana State for another year, leading the Celtics to use a loophole to retain his rights until he signed a record-setting rookie deal in 1979, changing draft eligibility rules forever.Hopefully this opens the door to what I've long wanted for college basketball, playing in college while an NBA team has your rights
They don’t care, it’s officially minor league sports now, everyone is getting paid, people thought NIL would lead to resentment in locker rooms when one guy is being paid way more than his teammates, these guys all understand the market.I also can't believe these guys aren't embarrassed to walk back into a locker room after 3 years and being mid 20s, failed NBA prospects, but trying their hand at college ball again.
I can't imagine the frosh/soph aren't ripping on them behind their backs. That doesn't have to be a defining decision maker, but it's something I've thought about.
you gotta be trollingWe should be reaching out to Jackson to see if he would potentially come back. Great fit with a big like Reibe, and does all those small things that contribute to winning. Demary/Ball/Reibe and a transfer could handle the scoring roles.
"...has declined multiple two-way offers from NBA teams, in an attempt to preserve his college eligibility..."I'd take this guy.

We could also use Hawkins shooting and college might be a good place for him to find his stroke again. I also think Drummond's deal is up after this NBA season. We should be reaching out to Jackson to see if he would potentially come back. Not sure it would be any different. Eventually someone would sue for transfer rules to be unconstitutional, for the right to play semi-pro and return to school, same as now.I wonder where college sports would be if the NCAA had just allowed athletes to sign endorsements and profit off of their name/celebrity like everyone with common sense asked them to do 30-40 years ago.
We’re on the doorstep of former nba players coming back to college at this point. I’d stay ready for that reality. Nobody ever thought we’d get this far either, and people keep being exasperated when the line is pushed again, nothing will surprise me anymore. We shouldn’t be late to adjust.you gotta be trolling
We should be screaming in his ear there’s a spot for him whenever he’s ready.I'd take this guy.

A dude who is about to finish up year 3 on a standard NBA contract and a year past his eligibility window is not going back to college man. I would think/hope AJ would have some level of shame to not be trying to go back to college given the level he's at.We’re on the doorstep of former nba players coming back to college at this point. Let's stop complaining. It is what it is. A successful business person understands that you compete in the current environment, not the one you'd prefer, like it or not.
Adapt or perish.
