I would love to see that hahaHere’s a fun hypothetical: the Knicks (own his rights) can call him up or trade him elsewhere and he would have to leave Baylor on the spot.

First they'd have to actually sign him, so he'd essentially have to agree to leave Baylor and sign in the NBAHere’s a fun hypothetical: the Knicks (own his rights) can call him up or trade him elsewhere and he would have to leave Baylor on the spot.
Why stop there? Let's get Sanogo and Newton too. I'd say Castle and Clingan also but the Spurs and Trail Blazers are never giving up those two.I was wondering if Jordan Hawkins can return for the spring semester.
Da Fug let's get the band back together Jackson, Sanogo, and Hawkins. Shoot why not grab Christian Vital and the Wrench to fill out the bench and get them a ring? Why stop there? I know you are joking but there would be an argument for Sanago if he didn’t play 13 NBA games. He still had eligibility. At least it seems that way.Why stop there? Let's get Sanogo and Newton too. I'd say Castle and Clingan also but the Spurs and Trail Blazers are never giving up those two.
And a few NIL millsOnly a matter of time before an active NBA guy says “f it, college ball sounds fun” and is granted eligibility.
I was thinking about it at work yesterday as I was daydreaming out my window while making coffee. What would our starting lineup be today if kids still stayed 4 years like the old days. Why stop there? Let's get Sanogo and Newton too. Played as a pro or an amateur? He never actually signed an NBA contract, he continued playing overseas. So I imagine that's the loophole they found
Because he's a 2nd round international, correct. So it seems as though the Knicks will retain his rights if he ever wants to sign in the NBA. No re entering the draft.
