Batouly Camara - Hyperextended knee, MRI Scheduled

“Camara stepped on a teammate's foot in practice yesterday and hyperextended her knee. MRI scheduled.”

Tough break for Batouly with all these health issues...and will certainly impact our bench depth even more. Hopefully it is nothing more serious than a minor hyperextension.

My sense is that Touly has just been trying to tough it out this year, with two very fragile knees. I just hope she can get through this latest setback and maybe enjoy the remainder of this season. I have to wonder if she'll be back next year, given all the injuries she's had to deal with.

We've seen this injury before..............if there's no ligament damage perhaps 2-4 weeks before she can play again.............UConn got off relatively easy compared to many other teams................check the Injury List thread to see who's out for the season already......
