Barstool Gruden Huskies Box

I saw that video on SC earlier today and commented that he mentioned a bunch of coaches but failed to bring up Edsall. Still, it was cool to have him list off all the players we sent to the NFL, really a good promo video that yes, you can do football at UConn too!

His not naming Edsall really didn't bother me. I would have been thrilled if he also left out Diaco and P.

The way Gruden not reading a teleprompter listed off all those names was impressive. It has been a downer losing Edwards, Neider and Harper but seeing the way Coach Gruden gave props to Coach Candle has me really looking forward to next season.

I know that and fully understand. I just would have preferred it if cranberry pants and P were given the same treatment.

This gear is leftover team merch from the last 2 seasons. I personally have a couple of those items lol. In terms of cost this cost $0 it was already on hand, the team gets new Nike merch every season in the summertime.

Awesome publicity very smart move from Candle + Co.

The praise for Candle was awesome to hear. I can’t believe he mentioned Crazy Diaco but didn’t mention Edsall who put this team on the map. I was blown away with some of the names he started throwing out there! I thought he was going to omit Danny O too! lol! I forgot how good Branch played for Raiders. Really great PR for UConn!

Anyone know the name of the sidekick who went to Trinity? I know there are a few Bantams (besides myself) on this board.

Diaco has had a good career. Crazy works well for a lot of coaches. Unfortunately, Diaco was not meant to be a head coach, he’s clearly a sideshow. No one will make that mistake again.

Does this sort of confirm he had a real interesting in our job opening? Seems like it to me.

But about Gruden- he really F-d up. But if guy wants to coach again, he's needs to first get some organization to hire him as analyst. I don't see how any place can put him on the field again without a trial period in some other roles.
 
Chucky reppin’ the merch! Yeah, he must’ve had a board like @BlueandOG mentions, but still. Tom Jackson, Skip, brings me back. No Larry Corn mention though.

i've always wanted the gray dry fit t shirts the football players wear in offseason, with the navy husky logo and nothing else. maybe the word "football" underneath, that'd be fine too but idc about it.

or a block C version would be even better.

clean, simple, elegant, performance.
