With a March 14th surgery date , is there any word from the coaching staff as to whether she will be ready for next season ?

If folks on the board would like I can get a list of responses to her following the surgery. My thought is to post your get we'll wishes to a new post. I will print and she can read it when she get Back to campus. I'll add a card with best wishes from the boneyard.

Ok. Good idea.

Lots of best wishes to her for a speedy recovery. She is sorely missed.

Best wishes, Brianna! You have a very bright future as a Husky.

Sending best wishes from overseas to Brianna and keeping my fingers crossed for quick rehab!

If there are no complications and she has a normal rehab, she should be ready for the season. The coaches likely will have no idea until summer, however

I have always liked her game, even during her sometime struggles her freshman year. I just like the way she carries herself on the court.

Whenever she entered a game my wife would say something like, "There's your girl." Whenever she did something good I would say something like "That's my girl!", which was quite often this year.

Good luck with your surgery, Briianna - here's to a full recovery and a great future as a Husky.

I am sure the timing was to coincide with spring break so that she will miss as little class time as possible. Also, it is the down week between the BET and the first rounds of the NCAAs. Timing makes sense.

Looking at the collision it seemed like nothing. So, I'm hoping the surgeon comes out of it saying it was a relatively minor tear.

Here's hoping you're right...it looked like she stepped around a player and planted her right foot at about 10 o'clock causing all of that stress to load up the outside ACL...we have to get these ladies to learn to keep their weight coming straight over their knees and toes...
