So what the hell is HDNet and Versus?? Does this mean that the UConn games won't be on TV? So I might as well schedule another piece of pie and grappa instead??

After some browsing thru the FIOS guide, I find that HDNet is ch 565, and Versus ch 90. Don't have HD, so looks like the extra pie on Thur nite.

HDNET is offered in certain areas if you have Digital cable. Cox does not offer it. As far as Versus, you also have to have a digital plan to get it. You can also see the games on versus via live streaming at http://www.time4tv.net/2011/09/versus-channel.html

Please buy yourself an HD TV on Friday. They are practically giving them away for free.

HD boxes have the same monthly fee as regular boxes now.

It's time to upgrade. There's no reason not to.

I can get games #2 and 3 on Versus. With no HD, can not get Thur game (HDNet only). Sports Bar on Thur nite!!
