Hey all, heading to tomorrow's game and was asked by someone in my group what the policy was for bags brought into the stadium. I had no idea, and we cant find the answer online, so I'm hoping someone here does.

Thanks in advance!

>>All bags are subject to search upon entry and are subject to additional searches within the stadium. Backpacks or oversized bags are not permitted. Purses/tote bags that are smaller than 12" x 12" x 6" will be permitted. Diaper bags are permitted in the company of a small child. Bags carrying medical needs will also be permitted and are subject to search by venue personnel. Bags for equipment and computers for those working the event, such as media, photographers, etc. are permitted and are subject to search upon entry into the venue. Guests are encouraged to return unauthorized items to their vehicles. Venues cannot safeguard items which are not permitted into the arena. Violators of the rules will be refused admission and asked to leave. This policy is in effect for all guests.

APPROVED BAGS
  • Purses or tote bags that do not exceed 12” H x 6” W x 12” L
  • Small clutch bags>>

Just another sign that they don't want people to go to the games. But then, we worry about EEE too!

And the NFL is just like the Rent. HAHAHA.

Better example?
>>“We are adhering to what are basically national standards and industry norms,” Johnson said. “Whenever you go to a sporting event be it Clemson, Carolina, Panthers, even Carowinds - pretty much everyone is following this same model now.”

The clear-bag policy requires spectators to carry their belongings in a clear bag no bigger than 12 by 12 inches. No purses, backpacks, or other bags will be allowed, except for clutch purses that are smaller than 6 by 4.5 inches.<<

IMO bags should be banned in general. You don’t need to bring that much stuff to a sporting event.

Many venues have clear bags or small bags which is so they can sell concessions like beer at $10 bucks a pop.
