He's been awful this year, smack in the prime of his career when he should have been making that next step as a player. Really disappointing. I think the Grizzlies would be much better served with a guy like Paul Pierce who can space the floor, defend better, etc.

Was really hoping he'd be the face of the next wave of UConn alums in the NBA. It's looking more and more like it's going to fall on Kemba's shoulders, and maybe Drummond.

Rudy has missed time this year for "personal reasons" and has been constantly involved in trade discussions. I can see both of these things hurting his play and him being traded may be the best thing for him.

He's paid like all of the other tier 2 SFs in the league who are on their 2nd contract. He's shot the ball very poorly this year but he played on the level of Deng, Iggy, Granger last year.

Yeah he is overpaid, thats the market, it is what it is. Only about a handful of guys in the NBA are deserving of that contract. Rudy's NBA career is fine, just not playing up to superstar expectations.
