Grape wars! In an empty lot up the street grew a wild grape vine. When they were ripe everyone would load up and proceed to hurl grape at one another, kinda like the tomato thing in Spain, moms were not too happy when we were done.
Another was whiffle ball in the street, no base running, past the pitcher-single, past Richie's driveway-double etc. lot of fun, the dads joined in occasionally
