Ugh. We have to play St. John's twice again.

Should be a good game at the RAC against UConn.

Marquette? Didn't even like watching that once. Wasn't that the game where all the posts were benched?

But I thought we played ND twice last Season?

We did...We have had one home and home on the BE schedule for the past few years, it was Rutgers up until last year...Now we have two. My memory is fuzzy as to the time line of Syracuse et al leaving the BE - is it happening this year?

We also did in 2010-11 and 2009-10.

Losing WVU in favor of an additional in-conference home game (a thrashing of Marquette) doesn't excite me...but the 2011 game in Morgantown excited me in a bad way.

What did Marquette do wrong? :D

Oh, this is a chance to get Linnae Harper to a game--I like it!

Or for UConn fans to watch Tyler Summitt sitting on the Marquette bench.

It appears that the Big East decided to balance the schedule over maintaining the principles they had used for scheduling the single 2nd game that previously existed. That they did away with geographic considerations is somewhat surprising. Notre Dame as Big East champion gets #2 UConn twice, but also gets Providence twice. UConn gets Notre Dame twice as per usual, but instead of a second big TV game gets Marquette twice. I see a similar pattern for the matchups of other teams.
