We finally get an offensive showing. Chandler is terrific with some confidence and a receiving corps that makes up for some embarrassing drops against WMU. Chandler distributes 250 passing yards and two TD throws with no INTs. Lyle racks up another 100 yards rushing. Solid offensive performance.

The defense is just a band of pissed off Huskies and they take it out onf the Bulls. Looks something like the UMASS game. Pick six for Adams, two more sacks for Trevardo and once again Sio and Yawin take control.

Specials gets a fumble recovery in punt coverage and Mack takes a kick-off the distance.

41 (count'em) - 10 Huskies and on Piscataway.......

The score won't be nearly as important as the quality of play.

YPC ~ 5.0
ZERO turnovers
60% completion rate
50% third down conversion rate
2 takeaways
2 sacks
Control both sides of the line

Score 27-6

34-3. I think the dogs will be out in full force on Saturday. And I think that we are going to see success in both the pass and the run, accompanied by stifling defense and about 5 sacks. Let's go Huskies!!!

Dan so conservative? Lol I was thinkn Texas southern score from a few yrs back, I can Hear LT'S voices from the Gmen,"let's go out there like a bunch of craze dogs!"

IF coach PP and Dummy Delone stick with pass first run second in this game...it will open up run lanes for our RB and he will be successful and vice versa.
IF this holds true and they use this my prediciton is:
Uconn 34 Buffalo 13

Need to ring up a big number. Hang half a hundred on them or something like that.

The danger with this game is playing down to the level of competition.

Don't have faith in Deleone to have learned his lesson. 21-3 Uconn, but not easy.

PP plays to get the other team to lose. Expect heavy dose of run on 1st down, WC and 2 TE sets. Only LM plays as running back. Buffalo uses short passes to get 1st downs. Lot of punting. Uconn 0 and Buffalo -7.

Griffin has big game. Chad kicks 3 Field Goals. Two pick 6's , one punt return for TD by Williams. Final---UConn 45-13.

I think we win. We need it ot be a convincing victory, in my opinion. if it is a replay of last year's crappy 17-3 win where we we only one lucky break away from being in a dogfight, it will be very disappointing.

13-21 Buffalo
If this is the result, Pasquolini needs to be fired the minute the clock reads 0:00. If its 21-7 with under a minute to go, and we're driving for some meaningless score, I don't think Manuel even waits for the clock to run all the way down. If we give up 21 points to a team without its best running back, and without his backup and without his backup...well they should also fire the rest of the staff and just pick people out of the stands (or off the boneyard, I nominate Carl) to coach the rest of the season.

Their defense is really, really bad. If we don't score 30+ in this one I will be very disappointed.

35-10 Huskies.

We roll. Something like 37-7.

44-3 We roll. Offensive line has it's best game and fewest mistakes. Yards after catches. Defensive TD.
